Scaleway: Europe's Cloud, Minus the Silicon Valley Baggage

Scaleway is a French cloud provider that's been quietly building a serious alternative to the AWS-Azure-Google trio. Born in Paris and backed by the Iliad group, it runs its own data centers across Europe and leans hard into two things: data sovereignty and sustainability. GDPR worries? Handled. They also went all-in on AI lately, offering GPU clusters and managed inference so startups can train models without shipping data across the Atlantic. It's cloud computing with a distinctly European accent, and honestly, the pricing doesn't sting as much either.
